Our Mission
Hands for Seniors Outreach is a grassroots, community-based initiative dedicated to reaching out to seniors with dignity, compassion, and faith. We build meaningful relationships and remind seniors that they are valued, loved, and never forgotten.
Through personal visits, companionship, and simple acts of kindness, we create opportunities to listen to their stories, share moments of joy, and provide encouragement and support. We also bring seniors together for meals at local restaurants, creating a welcoming environment where they can connect with others, feel appreciated, and experience genuine fellowship.
As a grassroots initiative, we believe that meaningful change begins with people caring for people. Through volunteers, churches, community members, and local partnerships, we seek to respond to the practical and relational needs of seniors in our community.
Above all, we share the love of God through our words and actions, bringing hope, comfort, and encouragement and reminding every senior that they have a purpose and a precious place in God's heart.

Caring. Connecting. Supporting Seniors in Our Community.
Everyone deserves to feel valued, supported, and connected. Hands for Seniors Outreach Program provides FREE community support to seniors and vulnerable older adults in Downtown Toronto and nearby communities, regardless of religion, ethnicity, background, or personal beliefs.
Our volunteers are here to lend a helping hand through friendly visits and companionship, food and essential-needs assistance, errands and transportation, light housekeeping, appointment support, senior social activities, and scam and fraud prevention education.

Are you a senior who could benefit from our program, or do you know someone who may need additional support? We welcome seniors, family members, caregivers, and community organizations to contact us.
